In alphabetical order…
Agua Verde Cafe

Don’t fret about the hassle of meeting for a fun activity and then having to track down food in order to satiate your hunger. Agua Verde’s got both angles covered. Rent yourselves a couple kayaks from their Paddle Club (we’d recommend 2 singles, makes conversation a little easier than a double), enjoy the fresh air, fresh view and fresh company and paddle your way towards an appetite. All of Agua Verde’s dishes are created from in house recipes that will leave you and your special someone feeling like part of the family. Heck, it may leave you wanting to start a family of your own… if you know what we mean…

Chez Gaudy
You’ve most likely driven right past it, (a single door set back off the corner of Bellevue and Howell on Cap Hill), but if you haven’t brought your significant other here yet, you’re definitely missing out. In a space that promotes closeness, it doesn’t get more cozy than Chez Gaudy. Deliciously authentic Italian cuisine contrasts nicely with the quirky decor of lamps, candles and knick knacks. Unpretentious and extremely helpful (in a non-invasive way) service will keep your night both private and warm. Chez Gaudy calls itself “A great place to love” and whether this means you’ll fall in love with the restaurant, or each other, is entirely up to you :).
Elemental
There is not one element of Elemental that isn’t entirely delightful. Tucked away in an apartment complex behind Gas Works Park this hidden gem is here to take care of you and your date. Come ready for an experience and put away your pickiness because the eclectic meal will be chosen for you along with wine perfectly paired for each dish. After your server (presumably the ever-present owner) deciphers what you absolutely WILL NOT eat or what you’re allergic to, the fun begins. You’re left free to purely enjoy your date’s company along with the amazing meal you put no thought into. Mindless enjoyment? That’s one element you’ll be able to sink your teeth into on this romantic date. Literally.
How to Cook a Wolf

The perfect dinner for two, if you’ve got nothing else to talk about, the food will give you conversation to last the night through! The menu is ever-changing but what you can count on is surprising pairings that taste amazing. Well known for their small plates, the servers recommend picking out a couple of dishes each to share. One by one the intriguing combinations get rolled out as you flood your tastebuds with each unique burst of flavor after the next. A cozy, dark, yet confident ambiance, for the the food snob in your date, How to Cook a Wolf is culinary perfection.

Marrakesh
Holy belly dancers Batman! By far the most unique date-spot from start to finish on the list. You’ll be greeted at the entrance by traditional Moroccan decor as well as servers in authentic Moroccan robes and quickly taken to your seat cushions… on the floor. Get ready to get down and dirty, all meals are “family style” and when in Morocco you eat with your hands – same goes for Marrakesh. Finally, throw your inhibitions out the velvet draped windows and bask in the belly-dancing goodness. Tip: Men, make sure not to lock eyes with the dancers, never a good sign on a date.
Maximilien

After strolling through the hustle and bustle that is Pike Place Market, take a break and sneak your date away to an unassuming, chic yet casual oasis… Welcome to Maximilien. With authentic French cuisine “Maximilien has all the old-world charm of any hideaway in Paris.” A breathtaking view of the sound over a candle lit dinner, is nothing short of dreamy and whether you have the opportunity to dine on the deck or dine in house, your date won’t know whether to get lost in your eyes or this stunning view seen from any seat you choose. The French are famous for a certain kind of kiss and if this restaurant doesn’t help point you in that direction, we don’t know what will!

Salty’s
The finest restaurant on Alki that features not only the freshest fish and a killer panoramic view, but a seafood filled Sunday brunch that’s to die for. Don’t worry about over-consumption, a post meal leisurely walk along the Alki waterfront will burn off any extra cals. Lovers have been known to come for their first date, return for the engagement (which the staff will kindly help prepare to perfection) and conclude with the wedding reception (the space downstairs can hold up to 300 of your closest friends and family :) ). This date spot is deserving for “the one.”
Serafina
Serene yet subtly sexy, makes Serafina a must for a date spot. The intimate tables scattered around this quaint, Italian restaurant create a private setting that will leave you and your date gazing into each others candlelit eyes all night long. Their featured “Late Night Nibbles” served until midnight, could possibly be the sexiest snacks in town. Pair yours with one of their house-infused cocktails which carefully mix “house originals and nostalgic classics to please mind and body”… sounds relaxing in the most romantic sort of way. Go on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and combine all of the above with smooth, soft jazz, making for the kind of romantic setting you and your date can cheers your house infused cocktails to.
The Pink Door

Come ready for a night of sites because this restaurant has flare! A part of Seattle’s history for years, owner Jackie Di Roberto informed us that The Pink Door “translates to love” for many loyal customers who have not only discovered love there, but have returned to celebrate their years of love. The active ambiance will certainly entertain, whether you catch a burlesque show, balloon designer, or just some good old-fashion people watching. No need to worry about impressing your date with endless intellectual talk, The Pink Door happily provides the most pleasant of distractions: pure entertainment.
