In 2009 The Sweet Dudes Who Like to Party trampled 7 Sizzlin’ Sweethearts in a nearly flawless championship round to take home Flip Cup Gold…
In 2010 The Sweet Dudes met their match when Team Catholic stepped up to the plate and ’twas a gut wrenching moment when that final flip landed face down securing the Catholic victory…
In 2011 the Flip Cup Trohpy is once again up for grabs and the future of its resting place for the next year may lie in your hands.

Gather your teams of 6 folks, the annual GoTime and BEAN Flip Cup Tourney is here and the anticipation is higher than ever. Dante’s has kindly agreed to host yet again as we pack the house with flippers and friends alike, for what many consider the most exhilarating event of the year (nationwide)…
As usual GoTime and BEAN will be partnering, with all proceeds going back into the event and towards BEAN programs which help fund wonderful causes. Check out Bean’s Event Invite for all the information you need and to RSVP. Your team could walk away with a $100 Gift Certificate to Dante’s and new this year, the Runner-Up will also receive a GC: $50 to Dante’s!!
We hope to see ya’ll there and start strength training your flipping wrist now, the competition is fierce and only one team can be crowned the 2011 champion.
By now you know that GoTime is bringing happy hour details to a city near you on the web and on your phone (iPhone, Blackberry, Android). You can find our official list of happy hour cities on our website.
We also want you to connect with us on Facebook and Twitter, use the list below to find us in your city. We’ll be updating this list so keep checking back as more cities are added. Cheers!

Come for the trendy scene and stay for the happy hour! Mia does happy hour right taking all of their delicious cocktails and marking them 1/2 off from 4:00pm 8:00pm Monday through Friday (not to mention the $5 food specials)! They are officially claiming the title as THE happy hour spot in Miami for after work drinks.
“Happy Hour at Mia at Biscayne has rapidly become one of the most well-attended in the city. From active South Florida professionals to corporate CEOs, Mia caters to everyone and is Downtown Miami’s top after-office spot for cocktails.”- and we’d have to agree!
Try a Bellini Champagne Cocktail ($6 at happy hour) for the perfect mix of bubbly and sweet or if stiff is more your style, the Cucum Martini (with fresh muddled cucumber) is clean, strong, and also just $6 at happy hour.
Don’t be intimidated by it’s swanky atmosphere, Mia at Biscayne welcomes you with open arms, and hopefully a $70 gift card will entice you toward the dim, glowing lights too. They’ve kindly donated a GC to one lucky GoTimer so now you have no excuse. Entry to win is easy:
- 1 Entry if you RT any of our tweets about this giveaway
- 2 Entries if you leave a comment on this post
- 3 Entries if you fan us on Facebook
We’re drawing the winner this Fri so don’t waste your time, get entered!
Mia at Biscayne Happy Hour

It’s always so much fun for us to do these giveaways and see how jazzed all of our GoTimers get about participating (and winning for that matter). Thanks to Talarico’s for donating the $50 GC to this week’s Happy Hour Spotlight! If you’re one of our lucky winners either drop us a tweet or leave us a comment and we’ll get your prize sent your way.
Second Runner up and winner of a GoTime Beer Mug:
Ryan McIrvin
(Hop on over to Ryan’s twitter page and congratulate him!)
First Runner up and winner of a GoTime Prize Pack:
Ted Porter
(Thanks for fanning us on Facebook Ted!)
And the winner of the $50 GC to Talarico’s is…
Jennifer Cashman

(thanks for the RT Jennifer, it paid off, you win!!)
Believe it or not, these aren’t actual pictures of our winners but they’re an excellent depiction of how jazzed one gets to win our giveaways! Anywho, even if you didn’t win, don’t forget that tonight, Friday, April 30th, is a great opportunity to bop down and give Talarico’s happy hour a try. It’s an “Eighties Equal Rights Extravaganza” to benefit the Human Rights Campaign. Festivities start at 9pm… See you there!
Their happy hour menu is to die for, their drink specials are stiff and cheap, when it comes to happy hour spotlights, Talarico’s makes it easy for us to give them some love. Well known for their authentic Italian pizza, Talarico’s happy hour gives you plenty of reason to try a couple of their signature slices.
$4 gets you a slice of the Tarantino, Sinatra, or West Side for instance… each with their own signature toppings and taste that will leave you eager to try the other options on the menu. If pizza’s not your thing (you weirdo) there’s plenty of other happy hour menu items to choose from too, each for just 5 bucks! Pair some meatball sliders with a $3 draft and you’ve got a deliciously filling little meal for under $10. NOT BAD!
Even better, if you’re ever looking for some late night eats in the West Seattle area but aren’t interested in said eats also eating up what’s left of your wallet, Talarico’s daily late night happy hour is the spot.

A couple of months ago, GoTime made some pretty massive changes when we set our focus on happy hours and removed a couple of cool attributes from our site in order to emphasize that focus. Since then we’ve been hard at work, and with great anticipation, we are happy to announce our official national launch.
41 cities, thousands of happy hours nationwide, access to incredible deals at your fingertips.
To celebrate our big news we’re doing things up Flip Cup Style right here in Seattle where it all began. If you missed our First Annual Flip Cup Tourney last year at Dante’s then you missed the thrill of victory when “Sweet Dudes Who Like to Party” took home the gold… Don’t let that happen again this year. It’s time to get a team of 6 (or more) together and come back on down to Dante’s for round II.
Taking things to the national level would never have been possible if it weren’t for the amazing support that the folks in Seattle have shown us… consider this our chance to give back. GoTime will once again be partnering with BEAN and all proceeds from this event will go to BEAN’s scholarship fund. Check out BEAN’s event invite for all the information you need and to RSVP. Your team could walk away with a $125 GC to enjoy a happy hour at any venue of your choice!
We hope to see you there, and the next time you’re in:
Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Austin, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, Houston, Cleveland, St. Louis, Detroit, Phoenix, Columbus, Miami, Las Vegas, Washington DC, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Denver, San Antonio, Orlando, New Orleans, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Charlotte, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Broward-Palm Beach, Orange County, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Akron, Fort Worth, Oakland, San Jose, Seattle-Eastside, Boulder
let us direct you to a nearby happy hour special!
Hopefully not too many of you are left Sleepless in Seattle this Sunday, Feb 14th aka Valentine’s Day. There’s much to do for lovebirds and love-seekers alike! Our favorite foodie Kate Opatz takes us along for the ride on her dining adventures:
What’s better than happy hour? Well, a happy night, of course. At Art of the Table, Mondays are just happy. Really, it’s delightful anytime you find an excellent restaurant that is open on Mondays, but it doesn’t hurt that this one offers affordable small plates, $5 glasses of wine, and $26 bottles.
The small plates vary weekly, but a recent Monday offered hearty lamb Bolognese pasta, flavor packed toast topped with black trumpet mushrooms and porcini purée, and roasted eggplant and fennel with goat cheese. Vegetables are treated with care at Art of the Table – the meal was over before I realized we’d ordered only one meat dish. Even in winter, everything is both fresh and flavorful.
The restaurant is tiny – just a small, triangular room with no more than eight tables. Since no reservations are taken on happy Mondays, it’s best to arrive early or after nine.
Art of the Table Happy Hour
Mon: 5pm-10pm
Food:
á la carte menu~small plates~tasty food
Drink:
$26 bottle wine; $5 glass of wine; $3 beers

A huge thanks first and foremost to the masses that participated in this weeks GoTime Giveaway. A $75 gift card was definitely worth getting competitive over, and ya’ll got competitive! Another big thanks to Captain Blacks for donating the fine prize. We’re sure that the winner will be coming in next Thursday to watch the Jersey Shore and buy every one shots whenever Mike “The Situation” says “situation”… or not. Winners and losers alike should swing by and give this spot a shot, tell them GoTime sent ya!
And the winner is…

Great grub, stiff drinks and a chill atmosphere collide at Captain Blacks killer happy hour. Find your inner pirate at this “sea inspired spot” while indulging in happy hour Beecher’s cheese curds, or a Po Boy sub sandwich (among other things). You can hit up The Hill any night of the week from 10pm-12am and indulge in their late night food happy hour too. Food specials start at just $3 so their deep fried mac and cheese won’t break the bank after a night out.
If it’s the drink specials you’re interested in, they don’t skimp there either, drafts start at just $3 during happy hour. Sporty folks can enjoy their brewski while watching the game or if weather is permitting, sit outside. The outdoor seating is pretty awesome and they’ll accommodate parties big and small (outside and inside) so you really have no excuse!
We’re loving the idea of a $6 Captain’s Tea (packs real bang for your buck), some Seattle sunshine and the $3 waffles at happy hour (lets be honest, waffles are great any time of day!) Or HECK, go ahead and try a little bit of everything on their happy hour menu when you win a $75 gift card. Entry to win is easy and we’ll be drawing the winner this Friday January 15th so get entered in as many ways as you can before time runs out!
